Once the merchant issues the refund, it can take a few business days for us to receive those funds. Once weve received the funds, it can take up to 13 days for us to adjust your payment plan. Please note that our support team cannot speed up this refund timeline.
Click Manage Zip Money account. Click Change Instalment settings. Doing so will cancel all existing instalments, and stop any future transactions from automatically being split into equal instalments.
Deactivate Log into your Zip mobile app on your phone. At the bottom, select the Account tab. Scroll down to the About Zip section. Select Close my account. Select Deactivate and you will receive the confirmation screen shown below.
You can deactivate your account at any time. If you still have a balance owing, your repayments will run as normal as per the set schedule. If you have no balance owing, you wont be charged anything and will not be able to use the account until you are ready.
If the merchant issues a refund your Zip account will be credited with the agreed amount. Please allow up to 5 business days for the funds to return to your Zip account. If the retailer declines a refund, a dispute may be raised with Zip to investigate the purchase. This process may take up to 32 days to be completed.
Refunds can only be sent back to the original card used to make the purchase. We can not refund to a different card. If you have a different card number, or your account is now closed or cancelled, your refund will still go back to that account.
Log into your Zip mobile app on your phone. At the bottom, select the Account tab. Scroll down to the About Zip section. Select Close my account.
When you process a refund, the funds will appear instantly back into the customers Zip account. You do not need the customer present in order to perform a refund via the dashboard.
To cancel a subscription simply click on the three small dots next to the service you wish to cancel and select Cancel card. Once cancelled the service will typically remain active until the end of the billing period at which point no further debits will be taken from your Zip Pay account.
