As soon as we have registered your cancellation or return, Zip will process your refund within 10-15 business days. Any partial refunds will be applied to outstanding instalments first.
Select Deactivate account: If you cannot see the option to deactivate, please update your Zip app to the latest version through your app store.
Log into your Zip mobile app on your phone. At the bottom, select the Account tab. Scroll down to the About Zip section. Select Close my account.
When an Open order is being processed, you will see the below message in its Overview after selecting the order in your Zip app Orders tab. Once Zip is alerted the merchant has processed your order, this message will go away. Open Virtual Card or In-Progress: An order that was not successfully placed.
When you process a refund, the funds will appear instantly back into the customers Zip account. You do not need the customer present in order to perform a refund via the dashboard.
Once in the Zip app, you will need to: Tap the profile in the top right corner: Tap Manage Zip Pay/Money account: Tap Close account:
If you have a pending order from a Single-use card purchase, chances are its totally normal as it can take 3-5 business days for the merchant to process these payments completely. If the merchant fails to complete the order, the pending funds will be released back to your account after a maximum of 9 days.
If your scheduled payment fails, well reattempt the payment the following business day. If you dont pay the minimum payment each month (or the remaining balance if less), a late fee of $5 for Zip Pay and $15 for Zip Money will be charged 21 days after your contractual due date.
