Several users have been reporting this issue on various forums, and Ive been facing this issue myself, too. Now, it turns out this is being caused by a conflict with ad blockers and page script blocking extensions. Disabling those extensions fixes the problem.
You can lock editing on cells by highlighting the cells you do NOT want the student, or user, to edit. Right click or use the Data menu to Protect sheets and ranges.
You can also use the strikethrough shortcut by pressing Command+Shift+X on your keyboard. This will add a line through the selected text without having to open the Formatting toolbar.
Put the cursor inside the paragraph which is running off the screen. Click Format Alignment and Indent Indentation options Set the Right indent back to 0.
The standard way to use the strikethrough feature is to select the text you want to strikethrough and then select the strikethrough feature on the home tab. However, Word also has shortcuts that you can use to achieve the same thing. Press CTRL + D.
Just follow these simple steps: Highlight the text you want to edit. Press ctrl+D on Windows or cmd+D on Mac. Click the Strikethrough option under Effects in the middle of the window. Press Okay.
Step 1: Tap the Edit button (pencil icon) on the bottom right to enter edit mode. Step 2: Select the text you want to strikethrough. For a word, tap and hold on Android or double-tap on iPhone. To select more text, drag the blue circle for the highlighted word through the remaining text.
This happens if you accidentally change the paragraph indentation for the document. Ensure that Indentation, both before and after text, are set to zero and that no special formatting has been set.
