[Music] hello everyone how are you doing this is mdtech here with another tutorial in todays eternal machine theres how to resolve if you notice that when youre typing its the leading taxi already wrote before so its over writing text its already on your document so just for example I started typing here after this first question I start typing something here you see it starts over writing the text that immediately follows it so first thing I would recommend just would be to tap the insert key on your keyboard so getting insert key and if I just keep typing at this point now you see it doesnt overwrite the text anymore and you just want to turn that functionality off for the future you can just go ahead and select the file tab and then select options select the advanced selection on the left side and then where it says use the insert key to control over type mode you want to uncheck that so its just a blank box and select okay and then you do they simple as that so shouldnt be

The Modify Style dialog box. Make sure the Automatically Update check box, at the bottom of the dialog box, is clear. (If there is no Automatically Update check box, then Word doesnt offer that option for the style you have chosen.) Click OK.
When the enforcing protection option appears gray and cant be clicked, it isnt available. Usually the reason that it doesnt work is because another type of protection is already in place on the document. Changing the status of the document will make the option available again.
Press Alt+F11 again to close the VBA editor, click on the protected text to open the Restrict Editing menu. Click Stop Protection. It will stop protection without the password.
Clear All Formatting Select the text with the formatting you want to clear. Select Home Clear All Formatting. or press Ctrl + Spacebar.
Press CTRL+SHIFT+F9 on your keyboard. This will remove the field codes, replacing them with the text they contained. Save the document.
Ctrl-Shift-Z will reset any formatting changes made to text, such as font, size, bold etc.
On the Review tab, in the Protect group, click Protect Document, and then click Restrict Formatting and Editing. In the Editing restrictions area, select the Allow only this type of editing in the document check box. In the list of editing restrictions, click No changes (Read only).
If you want to limit how much others can edit or format a form, use the Restrict Editing command: Open the form that you want to lock or protect. Select Developer Restrict Editing. After selecting restrictions, select Yes, Start Enforcing Protection.
Locking a Field Select the field you want to lock. Update the field, if desired, by pressing Shift+F9. Press Ctrl+F11.
