hey guys im patrick hall with f stoppers comm and today i have one of the darkest neutral density filters ive ever used this thing is 15 stops lets take this out and see what this can do so a few days ago the company polar pro sent us a few of their neutral density filters one of them is a 15 stop filter the other is a 10 stop filter that actually has a polarizer attached to it now 99% of photographers are going to want one of these because they probably shoot landscapes and they want really long exposures maybe 30 seconds all the way up to 30 minutes and thats going to create silky smooth water and super blurry skies which does not look like anything you can traditionally do just with your camera alone so the way these filters work are just like any other filter you just screw them onto the front of your lens and its going to block a lot of light from entering and hitting your sensor now there is a range of different neutral densities the most common ones are probably two stops
