I have come across that many a times people get confused between these three terms i.e. Amendment, Cancellation and No show. So, here, in this video, I will explain the difference between these three. Hello friends, I am Naveen Chahal, welcome you on hospitality broadcast. Cancellation: Cancellation means cancelling a confirmed reservation. The term confirmed reservation has already been discussed by me in an earlier video titled as Type of Reservation. Check eye button and a link is also provided in the description below. For example when a guest has a confirmed room reservation for a specific date but due to some circumstances he decides not to go, thereby informs the hotel about the same and requests to cancel the reservation. This process is called cancellation. On the other hand, if a guest doesnt want to cancel but want some change in his original reservation then its called Amendment.
