If your Mac gets stuck on the sign-out process or theres no reaction after clicking the Sign Out button, you can force quit the process first. As Apple ID is in System Preferences, you need to click the Apple menu Force Quit System Preferences. Then, click Force Quit for confirmation.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Sign in with your Apple ID at the top of the sidebar. Click Forgot Apple ID or password?, then do one of the following: If you forgot your Apple ID: Click Forgot your Apple ID?, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Delete a user or group on Mac On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Users Groups in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click the Info button next to the user or group you want to delete, then click Delete Account. Do one of the following: Click Delete Account.
How to delete an Apple ID account Go to Apples Data and Privacy website. In the Delete your account section, click Request to delete your account. Select a reason to delete your account from the drop-down menu, then click Continue. Follow the on-screen prompts to continue with account deletion.
Part 2: Delete Apple ID without a Password on Apple Store and iTunes On your iPhone, open Settings iTunes App Stores. Click on your Apple ID, then choose the Sign Out option. The Apple ID will be removed. Use a different Apple ID to sign in or create a new one, then Sign in.
Press these three keys together: Option (or Alt), Command, Esc (Escape). Or choose Force Quit from the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen.
Sign in to your ID.me account. In the top menu, select Sign In Security. In the menu on the left, select Close Account. Select I would like to close my account.
Sign out of your Apple ID On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click [your name] at the top of the sidebar. Open Apple ID settings for me. Click Sign Out. Follow the onscreen instructions for copying and downloading your data stored in iCloud.
