The header row will now be automatically repeated whenever the table appears across multiple pages. To turn this off, just click the Repeat Header Rows button again.
In order to remove the words Running head from the other pages in Microsoft Word, open the header area of the document. On the Header Footer Tools Design tab, in the Options group, select the check box for Different First Page.
Click on the More options menu to bring up Headers footers formatting menu. Under the layout section, select Different first page and Different odd even options. You can then put a different header on every page and ensure it wont repeat on the following pages.
In the Format sidebar, click the Table tab, then do any of the following: Add or delete headers and footers: Click the Headers Footer pop-up menus in the sidebar and choose a number. Freeze header rows and columns: Click the pop-up menus below Headers Footer, then choose Freeze Header Rows or Freeze Header Columns.
Click or tap where you want to start a new page without the header or footer. Go to Layout Breaks Next Page to create a section break. Double-click the header or footer area (near the top or bottom of the page) to open the Header Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections.
Delete a header or footer On the View menu, click Header and Footer. Click the Print Settings tab. Under Headers and footers, do one of the following: In the Print form with this header or Print form with this footer box, delete the header or footer text.
