Youll receive a full refund if you cancel by 12:00 p.m. three days before the booking begins. If you cancel later than 12:00 p.m. three days before the booking begins, youll receive a 50% refund for the first 7 days of the booking. Youll receive a 100% refund for any days after that.
As a starting point to keep in mind, typical house sitting rates are in the $25-30/day range, more (around $50) for overnight stays. But this is just a ballpark. We suggest taking the time to calculate a number based on your own house sitting expectations and needs.
We also have a more detailed cancellation policy in our service agreement, which every client must agree to before they get access to our online scheduling system, Precise Pet Care or Time To Pet. If you need to cancel anytime, we place a credit on your account that you can use within one year.
If you have confirmed a sit but need to cancel, you must inform the other member immediately so that they can make any necessary alternative arrangements. Remember, a sit must only be cancelled if both you and the other member agree, or if there are any extraordinary circumstances.
Clients and The Dog Walker agree to give one weeks written notice to cancel the agreement. If you do not require the service for that week a cost of 50% of that weeks walks will be due. This will be based on an average of your previous 4 weeks.
