do you need to email a copy of your document but dont want to load up gmail you can email your document as an attachment from within google docs helping you save time and control access to your work to find the feature just click file then email as attachment from here youre essentially sending an email with your gmail account you can enter an email address create a subject line and write a message click the drop down menu in the bottom left to choose the file type for your attachment if you select the dont attach check box you can even include your document within the body of the email this may help if the recipient cant open certain files when your email is ready click send you dont need to share the document with anyone or change the permissions in order to use this feature it only sends a static copy of your document to the recipient it does not give them access to the google doc itself its worth noting that when you send your document with google docs the email it generates

You cannot recall an email that is a week or more older. The only thing you can do is apply the Undo Send feature within 5 to 30 seconds of sending the email. Thanks! Were glad this was helpful.
Choose an amount of time to recall a message On your computer, go to Gmail. In the top right, click Settings. See all settings. Next to Undo Send, select a Send cancellation period of 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds. At the bottom, click Save changes.
Undo a sent email You have ten seconds to change your mind after you send an email. Tap Undo send at the bottom of the screen to pull back the email.
Click, hold, and drag your cursor from the beginning to the end of the text you want to strikethrough. On Windows, hold down the following keys: Alt + Shift + 5. For Mac, hold down Command + Shift + X.
To turn this option off: Sign in to your Google Admin console. In the Admin console, go to Menu Apps Google Workspace Drive and Docs. In the Creating new files in Google Drive section, uncheck the Allow users to create and upload any files on Drive box.
Google Drive has a useful system built into it that alerts users when a document is shared with them or lets them know about important activity in Drive. That system sends both emails and push notifications to your phone to keep you in the know.

When you want to unsend an email, look for Undo in the Message Sent box and click it. The email you just sent will open back up and it will be saved to your Drafts folder. Undo Send also works in the Android and iOS Gmail app. Look for the Undo option in the black bar at the bottom of the screen and click it.
Can you unsend an email in Gmail after a day? You can only undo a message within 30 seconds of sending it, depending on what your cancellation time frame is set to within your settings.
