Youve got say a seven page document and theres an eighth page and its just blank. You dont want that page to appear when you export as a PDF or when you print a document. Well, there are a few different reasons that you may see extra pages at the end of your Pages document. To get to the bottom of it the first thing you need to understand is that there are two different types of Pages documents. Theres a word processing document and a page layout document. When you create a new document in Pages you start off

Select the cells or table you want to format. In the Format sidebar, click the Cell tab. Click the Data Format pop-up menu, then choose Date Time. Click the Date pop-up menu, then choose a format.
Select the cells you want to clear. Press the Control key as you click anywhere in the range, then do one of the following: Delete the content but preserve formatting and styling: Choose Delete Cell Contents. Remove all content, formatting, and styling: Choose Clear All.
Clear cells of contents or formats To clear all contents, formats, and comments that are contained in the selected cells, click Clear All. To clear only the formats that are applied to the selected cells, click Clear Formats.
With your document open in Pages on Mac, click View Show Invisibles from the menu bar. You should immediately see the formatting symbols in your current document.
You can undo recent changes you make to a document, then redo them if you change your mind. Do any of the following: Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
Clear formatting from selected text using keyboard shortcuts Press Ctrl + Spacebar to clear character formatting only (such as bold, font and font size) from selected text. Press Ctrl + Q to clear paragraph formatting only (such as indents and line spacing) from selected text.
To toggle the display of non-printing characters On/Off just click the in the Paragraph group on the Home tab or use the keyboard shortcut Command+8.
Add or remove table rows and columns Add or delete rows or columns at the edge of the table: Tap. Change the number of rows or columns in the table: Select the table, tap. Insert or delete a row or column within the table: Tap the row number or column letter, then tap Insert or Delete.
You can also delete a portion of a page or a section. Delete a page in a page layout document: Click the View button in the toolbar, choose Page Thumbnails, select the page you want to delete, then press Delete on your keyboard.
Show or hide tab marks in Word Go to File Options Display. Under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the check box for each formatting mark that you always want to display regardless if the Show/Hide. button is turned on or off. Clear any check boxes for ones you dont want always displayed.
