Talk to the Registrar In addition to the conversations you have with school administrators, you will likely need to submit something in writing about your reasons for withdrawing and your official date of withdrawal. The registrars office might also need you to complete paperwork to make your withdrawal official.

Withdrawal Procedures Students must submit written notice of withdrawal to the Office of the Registrar no later than the last day of classes. The effective date of the withdrawal for purposes of any refund is the date that the written withdrawal notice is received by the Office of the Registrar.
Drop Policy Undergraduate students can adjust their schedule (add, drop, etc.) until the close of business on the last day of the Schedule Adjustment Period. After the end of Schedule Adjustment, students are limited to dropping a maximum of 4 credits during the Drop Period.
Once youve decided to cancel your enrollment in college, youll need to fill out appropriate paperwork. Some colleges may have an online system that will allow you to electronically withdraw from your classes. Visit the registrars office to obtain the necessary paperwork.
How to withdraw: Students can withdraw online by logging into Campus Information Services, click on the Registration tile on your Student Homepage, and click on the Drop Class link. Students in PRTL, PRTS, and PRTW classes for credit should contact the Registration Records Division through UMail.
