hello all welcome to this session in this session I am going to explain and practically show you how to add block comments in sdng XML file of a project using Eclipse ID option so lets get started let me quickly switch to this Eclipse IDE where we have a sample test NG project having this exchange.xml file okay now if you can see this content inside the stationg.xml file its in the XML format now lets say you have multiple classes here okay so this is one class lets say this is a test dot logout okay Ill just create some additional classes now Ill just copy one more Ill say it is dot uh register okay and so on there can be any number of uh classes here thats fine but my ultimate intention in creating multiple classes here is I want to lets say there is a situation where I dont want to run all these classes okay I dont want to run the test inside all these three classes rather I want to run only the test inside this login and register classes I dont want to run the test in

Ctrl + K on multiple lines (i.e. selected region) allows you to block comment. Ctrl + Shift + K (on the commented region) allows you to perform block uncomment. Ctrl + Shift + K on an uncommented selected region does not comment it.
If you want to delete all comments found in the XML file, the Element field can take the value *. Then you choose a set of files over which should be modified and you can preview the changes instead of applying them directly.
Select the entire block of xml and hit CTRL+/ to comment the entire block.
Ctrl + Alt + Shift + C comment selection. Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R uncomment selection. Maybe Ctrl+Shift+k has been remapped. alex. No, I havent found any other command with this shortcut assigned. For me, Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R was dual mapped to Launch in Chrome. Very useful plugin - works fine on v 5.9.
To comment a block: Select the required block of code. Press Ctrl + Shift + / The beginning (/*) and ending (*/) characters will be added in the appropriate places in order to mark the selected block as a comment.
To remove ALL comments in xml, use an XmlReader object to load the file and have that set to ignore the comments. Then re-save the file to remove the comments.
Commenting out an entire XML block using CTRL+ / comments each line separately instead of creating a block comment. Select the entire block of xml and hit CTRL+/ to comment the entire block.
