If you want to remove only a single comment, click on the comment you want to delete, go to the Review tab and in the section Comments click on delete. If you have multiple comments and you want to remove all comments at once, click on the dropdown arrow under the delete button and then click on Delete all comments in Document. If you dont want to delete the comments but rather hide them, then go to the section called Tracking and in the dropdown menu choose Original. This feature is defaulted to be on. To remove the character continueds, go to Document Mores and Continueds and uncheck the box for Automatic Character Continueds. Remember, if this is on, Final Draft will automatically enter (CONTD) next to all characters continuing after action.
Final Draft Go to Edit Replace Character; From the dropdown menu, choose the character whose name you want to change; Enter the characters new name in the field -- capitalize only the first letter -- and click OK.
Final Draft Go to Document SmartType Characters; Select the character name you want to remove and click Delete; Click OK to close the window.
