hey everyone appreciate you watching this video i want to talk to you about chapter 13 and really the two ways that a chapter 13 ends so one is in whats called a dismissal and frankly thats the majority of chapter 13. so a chapter 13 bankruptcy is where youre making payments into court and sometimes this is called debtors court and just means that for three years or five years it could actually be extended now with covert 19. but youre making payments to court and you stop making those payments well the case can be dismissed and when its dismissed now you no longer have any protection under the bankruptcy law but the other way is when you complete your payment so again whether thats three years or five years or maybe you pay it off early but you finish making your payments then youll receive a discharge now a lot of times we think of a bankruptcy discharge similar to a chapter seven discharge but it can happen in a 13 if you make all your payments it means all those debts that w
