hello everyone in this video were going to see how we can create a simple time of request so lets get started to access your time of request page you will have to navigate to my calendar so you can simply drag and drop click on time of request and here you will get the time of request window where you can select your start date end date vacation or whatever type of time of request that you want to submit and the unit so if your unit is hours you can also select the hour so that you can enter your start time and the daily amount total so im going to select a start date lets say im going to select uh somewhere next week 18th and the end date by default sets up to the date but if you want to have consecutive days applied like 18 to 19 you can do so you can select your pay code from the drop down and if your approvals are based in hours or days you can select ingly so im going to just select full day at the bottom of this page you can also see that how much accrual balance do you hav

Most tasks that you initiate but dont or cant submit can be cancelled or deleted from your Workday Inbox. Open the task in your Inbox, click on the gear wheel icon in the upper right corner, then click Cancel or Delete. Then, click Submit to finalize the action.
Once approved, you must correct the request to cancel it. Click the Absence icon on the home page.Click Cancel this Request. Enter a comment. This step is required for a cancelation. Click Submit, then Done. Click Business Process Cancel. Enter a comment.

If changes (dates, times, leave types) need to be made, the time off request must be cancelled. Employees can cancel their own time off requests; supervisors should only cancel the request if the employee is unable to complete the cancellation.
Select the Drafts tab. Select the pencil to edit the request, or select the trash can to delete the request.

No approval is required. You can cancel leave of absence requests that have been submitted but not yet approved.
