A LOCAL RESCUE GROUP SAID THEYVE TAKEN IN 100 DOGS THIS YEAR WHICH IS MORE THAN ALL OF LAST YEAR. RECENTLY THEY RESCUED 17 DOGS FROM A BREEDER NOW SHUTTING DOWN. THREE OF THE BERNICE MOUNTAIN DOG PUPPIES WERE BORN BLIND. ANOTHER PUPPY NOW NAMED DORY HAS WHATS CALLED SWIMMER LEGS BUT THANKS TO THE VETERINARIAN AND THERAPY WITH FOUR LUCKY DOGS, SHES ALREADY SHOWING MAJOR SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT. IVE DONE SOME THERAPY WITH HER AND SHES BEEN WITH ME ALMOST THREE WEEKS AND SHES ABLE TO WALK ON HER OWN AND SHE ACTUALLY RUNS. SHE DOESNT SEE HERSELF AS DISABLED IN ANY CAPACITY. THATS GREAT NEWS. ALL THE DOGS TAKEN IN FROM THAT BREEDER ARE IN FOSTER HOMES WHILE THEY GET MEDICAL TREATMENT. THEYRE NOT QUITE READY FOR ADOPTION BUT THE RESCUE GROUP
