[Music] hi hexagon and welcome to this inspire training video today were going to be discussing the ats 600 area scanning first navigate to the acquisition mode and select area scan next drop down again and then select the gears this will bring up the area scan menu where you can navigate to the ovc once you select define view ovc this will show the current viewpoint of your ats 600 next select add region and physically create points around the region that you plan on inspecting in the example above we can see that im placing points around the hexagon large block after this is completed the ats 600 will go through and measure those points on the right hand side you can modify the size of the region by just entering in the box or moving the slider once you are complete press set from ovc in the area scan dialog and then select apply this will update the estimated scan time and then inside of the main graphical view select the measure icon and this will go through and begin the measure
