Use a plain serif (e.g. Times New Roman) or sans serif (e.g. Arial) font. A serif font is easier to read. Suggested sizes are 12 for the text and 14 for headings.
To bold the text in HTML, use either the strong tag or the b (bold) tag. Browsers will bold the text inside both of these tags the same, but the strong tag indicates that the text is of particular importance or urgency. You can also bold text with the CSS font-weight property set to bold.
Most titles should be italicized or enclosed in quotation marks. In general, italicize the titles of sources that are self-contained and independent, like book titles. Use quotation marks around titles of sources that are contained in larger works, like journal articles.
Adding Titles to PROC REPORT output is simple with SAS. One or more TITLE statements can be specified at the top of each page of output (a maximum of ten can be specified). Its worth noting that footnotes can be added at the bottom of each page of output with the FOOTNOTE statement (a maximum of ten can be specified).
You can make the text of a SAS title bold and/or italic by placing the bold and/or italic keyword at the beginning of the TITLE statement. Likewise, to underline the title, you use the underline=1 option.
It should be double-spaced and in a legible font (Times New Roman is a safe choice), size 12.
As heading levels visually convey levels of importance, differences in text format are used to distinguish the main points from the rest. Headings are generally bigger, and may be centred and/or bold; subheadings should be increasingly less noticeable than preceding subheadings.
Bold text. Bold text, sometimes referred to as emphasized text, should only be used to convey information labels and should always be paired with a colon (:). Bold may also be used to label a topic within a table or chart without a colon as long as no other non-bold words follow the words which are in bold.

For headlines, there is much more flexibility, so try font sizes ranging from 18 to 28 points. Sub-headings should be between your copy font size and your title font size. Try 14-18 point fonts and do not be afraid to italicize or bold sub-headings to visually separate them from copy and headlines.
