hey guys my names Eric here for another tutorial excited about this one today because were gonna go out anyway my name is Eric floberg Im a photographer and filmmaker based out of Chicago I posted this photo to Instagram a few days ago I asked you guys if you wanted to watch a video about how to do it so here we are now the method using this photo is called a bokeh panorama or the Brenner method made popular by a photographer by the name of Ryan Brennan Iser now the reason the photo looks so trippy are my hands in it what do you want me to do with my hands so talk like this so the reason this photo looks so trippy is because its the focal length of like a 35 millimeter but I shot it with an 85 millimeter lens let me explain now with every lens when you open up the aperture to its widest setting you get the most blur or bokeh in front and behind your subject longer focal lengths like the 85 millimeter lens provide a much more dramatic looking bokeh or blur look at this example this
