so in this video Im going to demonstrate similar to the two I did for Microsoft Word how to add special characters into a Pages onine document this is pages from the iWork suite on Macs so the first symbol that a lot of students want to integrate is the degree symbol so lets say you measured temperature in 100 degrees and they want to know how can they put degrees Celsius so to add the degree symbol youre going to go up to edit in your pages menu bar youre going to come down to special characters and youre going to make sure that you choose letter like symbols now we have two options here really we can either go with this right here which is technically the masculine indicator which also youll notice makes a nice little degree symbol and I can follow that with a c to indicate degree Celsius or if youd like to its already taken care of here where you can do degrees Celsius and it gives you a variant on this as well so you can pick within your distinct font whatever it may be I
