Setting bold Greek letters in LaTeX maths {\boldmath$\theta$} does the job, but \boldmath may not be used in maths mode. As a result, this solution requires that you embed single bold characters in a text box: $ \ mbox{\boldmath$\theta$} $ $ \ text{\boldmath$\theta$} $
To make a text bold use \textbf command: Some of the \textbf{greatest} discoveries in science were made by accident.
Big theta () notation is frequently utilized in computer science to describe the time complexity of algorithms. It represents the upper and lower bounds of the growth rate. In LaTeX, use \Theta command for this symbol.
The \boldmath declaration switches to a bold math italic font; this causes letters, numbers, and most symbols used in math mode to be set in a bold type. (In LaTeX2e everything in the formula is set in a bold font.)
Bold Math \mathbf applies to all letters and numbers. \boldsymbol applies to all symbols, not just letters and number.
You can use \boldmath to switch to bold font for math contents, and \unboldmath to switch it off.
