One way to make text thicker is by using the “Stroke” layer effect. To do this, simply select the layer that contains your text and then go to “Layer > Layer Style > Stroke.” From here, you can adjust the stroke width and color to your liking.
Change the font size of a piece of text using these commands, from the largest to the smallest: \Huge, \huge, \LARGE, \Large, \large, \normalsize, \small, \footnotesize, \scriptsize, and \tiny. Set the font size of the whole document by adding an option to the \documentclass command.
Choose the words you wish to make bold and then highlight them with your cursor. The font style dropdown menu is available in the Type toolbar or the Character panel.
