Use a professional font. Its not necessary to use large fonts or to use bold, italics, underline or multiple text colors, etc. to emphasize your point. Emoticons or Emoji are often viewed as unprofessional and childish even though they do convey tone.

The Standard Format Start by using a clear font, Times New Roman or Arial are appropriate for business letters. Do not use colours and only use italics and bold where necessary.
To bold Sender: Outlook client-View tab-View Settings-Conditional Formatting-Add a new rules-Set the font style to Bold, the click OK. 2. To bold Subject: Outlook client-View tab-View Settings-Other Settings-change Row Font style to Bold.
