Okay. Many of you asked for this, so here it is: A video all about telephone sounds. Well, panel sounds, to be specific. After I thought long and hard about doing a video like this, I decided that it would be too much to try to do all the switching systems at once. Id be pushing an hour, and that would be unbearable to edit. So, well do 3 shorter videos instead. While Im setting up our hardware, I should mention that these switches are complicated, and Ive tried to do my best to talk about enough to make the video interesting, while avoiding the several weeks worth of content it would take just to have a strong understanding of switching theory. So, well do our best to make it a really fun video, and if you have any questions, Ill try to answer them in the comments. Oh yeah, and the recording hardware were using? Thats easy. Its a Western Electric 500 set thats been modified with a transformer and an audio output jack on the back. Importantly, the audio isnt coming from the
