hi everyone Jim from javelin here with a SolidWorks tech tip I have here great and what I want to do or at least the plate with a hole in it and what I want to do is I want to pattern this hole however I dont want to use a linear pattern because the positioning of the other cutouts has no real rhyme or reason behind it its going to be a couple of things that Im modifying here and what Im going to do is Im going to rename my dimensions so I modify this dimension this is the this is the height of the cutouts so Ill call it height Ill call this one with call this one my Z position doesnt like my minus sign in there so maybe Ill just call it Z POS for position and this is my x position Im also going to have this so that this Filat here I can adjust the radius on so Ill call this fill it one I realize its named after the feature but when it shows up in my table itll be called itll be named after the dimension so lets go into this table that I mentioned so to do this contrary
