How to bold light in the Church Membership

A lot of people today arent very keen on the idea of church membership, they just think it sounds like membership in Costco or some club, but actually membership is there in the New Testament. Its used certainly as an idea and an image that Paul uses about the church members of the body, but also in the self-consciousness there is among the people who are part of the assembly. In the New Testament, and with the apostles, a person knew when they were a member of the church, they knew when they were welcome to the Lords Supper and they knew when they werent, they knew when they were put out of the church. So that kind of deliberateness needs to be there in our churches, too, if were going to be faithful to the Bible.

Although theres no Bible verse that commands church membership, when we look at the evidence, its clear that being a member of a local church is understood and assumed.
The idea of church membership began to take shape in Matthew 16 and 18 when Jesus first began to constitute his church. There he gave the church the keys of the kingdom, which means that he gave it authority to speak in his name both to what the gospel is and who is rightly confessing the gospel.
Church membership, in Christianity, is the state of belonging to a local church congregation, which in most cases, simultaneously makes one a member of a Christian denomination and the universal Christian Church. Christian theologians have taught that church membership is commanded in the Bible.
Acts 4:31 Meaning and Commentary that is, the apostles, and pdocHubers of the Gospel, spoke it with great freedom, and without fear, not only privately, in their community, but publicly, in the temple: this was what was particularly prayed for, and in which they had a remarkable answer.
A church that embraces the sufficiency of Scripture. (2 Timothy 3:16-17). This is where we ought to start in choosing a church. Local churches need to affirm the Bible for what it is; God-breathed, and therefore, inerrant, and authoritative and sufficient for all things needed for life and godliness.
Being bold may be as simple as talking to someone you normally would not or stepping out of your comfort zone by praying with a family member, friend or coworker. At the end of the day, true boldness is centered on Christ. It requires humility rather than pride, as we realize that we cannot be bold on our own.
In Christ, we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith to God our Father (Ephesians 3:12). The only reason fear-based timidity remains in us is that we dont believe these mind-blowing promises.
In the Bible, the Apostle Paul compared the church to a body, with Jesus as the head. He said for a body to work, every member is important and must do its part (see Ephesians 4:16). Participating in church and offering your time and talents will improve and strengthen both you and the people around you.
