Go to Layout Page Setup Header Footer. Under Header or Footer, on the pop-up menu, select (none).
Click or tap where you want to start a new page without the header or footer. Go to Layout Breaks Next Page to create a section break. Double-click the header or footer area (near the top or bottom of the page) to open the Header Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections.
On pages where you dont want the headers and footers to print (such as the title page, first page of a letter, and so on), you can suppress the header and footer by selecting it in the Suppress dialog box. You can also use Delay Codes to postpone the effect of a formatting code.
Double-click on the footer. Click the Link to Previous button, located in the Navigation module on the ribbon. Click the Close Header and Footer button, located on the right end of the ribbon.
To delete a watermark Click the top of the first page where the watermark displays. Click Insert Watermark. Enable one of the following options: Watermark A. Watermark B. Click Discontinue.
Generally, you need to create the header or footer on the page where you want it to start. On pages where you dont want the headers and footers to print (such as the title page, first page of a letter, and so on), you can suppress the header and footer by selecting it in the Suppress dialog box.
To create a header or footer Click Insert. Header/Footer. Enable one of the following options: Header A. Header B. Footer A. Footer B. If you want to align the header or footer with the document margins, enable the Align with document margins check box. Click Create.
