Code: To make your font bold, use HTML or CSS. In HTML, you can apply the or tags around your text, while in CSS, you can use the font-weight property and set it to bold or use the font-weight: 700; declaration to achieve a bold effect.
Type the keyboard shortcut: CTRL+B.
Open a document on Google Docs. Select the line or paragraph where changes are needed. Then on the keyboard, press Ctrl+B for bold, Ctrl+I for Italic, and Ctrl+U for underline.
Italics. One of the simplest ways to create emphasis is to use an italic. Even though italics are generally intended for titles, foreign words, technical terms and the like, they can also be subtle emphasizers. Using the italic form of a typeface creates a distinct, yet harmonious departure in text copy.
The \boldmath declaration switches to a bold math italic font; this causes letters, numbers, and most symbols used in math mode to be set in a bold type. (In LaTeX2e everything in the formula is set in a bold font.) The \unboldmath declaration switches back to the normal math italic font.
The best boldface alternative for plain text is to use asterisks. Surround the text you want to emphasize with asterisks to make them stand out from the rest of the words. Example include: I will *not* go with you after what you said to me!
If you type, I want this *text* to be in bold, youll get: I want this text to be in bold. You can use it on larger chunks of text messages. All you need to do is to ensure that theres no space between the asterisk mark and the following letter.
