Of the different DiSC personality types, the rarest is the Type D, or Dominance style. There is only about 9% of the worldwide population that can say they are Type D, making it rarest of all! This DiSC type is characterized by being able to buckle down and concentrate on objectives, and making judgements quickly.
Each Everything DiSC map includes shading that surrounds the respondents dot. This shading provides a rough approximation of the individuals comfort zonebehaviors and attitudes that will come naturally to the person and require little conscious effort.
Dominance Steadiness Dominance and Steadiness are considered to be opposite DISC types: while D types are outgoing, active, and task-oriented, S types tend to be reserved, reflective, and people-oriented. But, as they say, opposites attract!
There are four DiSC model personality types that make up the DiSC personality model and assessment. These are known as Dominance (or D), Influence (or i), Steadiness (or S), and Conscientiousness (or C). DiSC is therefore an acronym for these personality types!
The eight words around the Everything DiSC map are called priorities, or the primary areas where people focus their energy. The closer a participants shading comes to a priority, the more likely they are to focus their energy on that area.
A high DISC score can indicate the greatest strengths of a job candidate when it comes to dominance, influence, steadiness, and conscientiousness. The higher a candidates score in a specific trait, the stronger the qualities of that particular trait will be in them.
D stands for Dominance, i stands for Influence, S stands for Steadiness, and C stands for Conscientiousness.
