The / key (slash) is the easiest way, as it normally types a ・ in Japanese IMEs. Note that this would be if your physical keyboard has an English layout. I, for example, have a Brazilian keyboard, so ; (semicolon) is the physical key that creates a middle dot.
To type the dot symbol on your keyboard, turn on the numeric keypad by pressing NumLk , hold Alt and press the 0 , 1 , 4 , and 9 keys in succession. If you don't type the numbers with the numeric keypad, the dot symbol will not show.
The technique : Keep the Alt key pressed (key just to the left of the Space bar), then you successively type the numbers 0 1 8 3 then you finally release the Alt key, which will bring up the middle dot / median dot at desired location.
Select and hold the Alt key on the numeric keypad. Type the bullet alt code (0149) in sequence using the numeric keypad. Release the Alt key after typing the numeric code to insert the first bullet point in the document. Repeat for the second bullet point and so on.
