Code: To make your font bold, use HTML or CSS. In HTML, you can apply the or tags around your text, while in CSS, you can use the font-weight property and set it to bold or use the font-weight: 700; declaration to achieve a bold effect.
Choose the words you wish to make bold and then highlight them with your cursor. The font style dropdown menu is available in the Type toolbar or the Character panel. The default on the dropdown should say Regular, and once clicked it should give you options for different styles. Choose the Bold style in the dropdown.
Select Faux Bold from the menu options. This is a simple way to replicate the bold style, but unlike the standard method, youll need to manually switch Faux Bold off once youre finished. Otherwise, the text in your next project will be in Faux Bold by default.
Highlight the text you want to edit, then look to the Character panel or Type toolbar. Find the text format dropdown menu (it usually defaults to Regular) and select it, then choose either Bold or Italic to change the highlighted text.
How to Add a Thick Outline in Photoshop? Create the text with the Type Tool and select Stroke from the effects menu while the Type layer is chosen. Use the slider to adjust the size (in pixels) or type in your own value.
Type the keyboard shortcut: CTRL+B.
