if you have a lot of assets and debts if you have some things thats just easier to include it as a narrative you want to explain something or so theres no something that makes more sense to you guys you can use something simple like this so this is not something I gotta find this is something we use internally um where because if you noticed going back to those forms theres nowhere to sign at all theres nothing to sign so this is an attachment that weve just come up with that has you know just some fancy language about exclusive agreement of the parties and then we just get right into it we just have a heading for property division petition over Steve as her soul and separate property the blue list of thats the thats and then we just bullet point out what they are same for respondent just keep it super simple guys other orders so if its not an asset or debt Division and you just want to include some some narrative here maybe its how the house will be sold or just something tha

Under the Marital Property Act, when married spouses separate or divorce, each spouse is entitled to an equal share of the marital property, and each spouse is responsible for an equal share of the marital debts, except in certain special circumstances.
Many couples going through a Florida divorce choose to negotiate a marital settlement agreement (MSA) to avoid litigation. The agreement can resolve all issues related to the divorce. There are many advantages of settlement versus litigation in a Florida divorce.
In a divorce, the spouses must address what happens to the marital home. Florida law does not provide an automatic, hard and fast rule as to who gets to keep the house following a divorce.
A post nuptial agreement is a contract signed after a marriage has taken place. Like a pre nuptial agreement, its sets out what each person can expect financially during the marriage and if the marriage comes to an end through divorce or death.
In community property states, marital property is owned 50/50 by both spouses equally; but since Florida is not a community property state, it does operate under the premise that marital property is to be divided equally. The courts can deviate from that formula, however, based on the circumstances of the case.
What Is a Marital Settlement Agreement (MSA) in a Florida Divorce? A marital settlement agreement or MSA is a contract between spouses seeking a divorce. The couple agrees to all of the divorce terms, such as equitable division of property, spousal support, and child support.
Marital assets include things like the marital home, retirement accounts, investments, cars, and personal possessions bought jointly or individually during the marriage. Credit card debt and loans taken out in both spouses names are also divided. The goal is an equal 50/50 split.
To modify your marital settlement agreement, you and your ex-spouse either need to agree to a change, or youll need to petition the court to make a change. When making its decision on any modification request, the court will always seek whats in the best interest for your child.
