In the Add fonts window, navigate to the Upload section. Click on the + button, and choose the custom font files (usually in TTF or OTF format) from your computer.
To use the bold, italic, and underline buttons: Select the text you want to modify. Click the bold (B), italic (I), or underline (U) button from the shortcut toolbar.
Add a font Download the font files. If the font files are zipped, unzip them by right-clicking the .zip folder and then clicking Extract. Right-click the fonts you want, and click . If youre prompted to allow the program to make changes to your computer, and if you trust the source of the font, click Yes.
Youll have to add most of these fonts to Google Docs, but this doesnt take much time or effort to do. First, click the dropdown arrow next to the font menu and tap more fonts at the top. Type the name of the font, click it so a checkmark is next to the name, then click OK at the bottom of the menu. Youre all set!
Open a document on Google Docs. Select the line or paragraph where changes are needed. Then on the keyboard, press Ctrl+B for bold, Ctrl+I for Italic, and Ctrl+U for underline.
Format text in your form On your computer, open a form in Google Forms. Click the item you want to edit. Select the text you want to change. Format the text. To bold: Click Bold . To italicize: Click Italic . To underline: Click Underline .
To add new fonts: In the toolbar, open the Font menu and click More fonts at the top. This will open a new window with hundreds of available fonts. Optional: Use the search and filtering options at the top of the window to narrow your search. Click a font to add it. When youre done adding fonts, click OK.
Upload the custom font to your Google Drive by opening Google Drive, clicking the New button, and selecting File Upload. Choose the font file from your computer to upload it to Google Drive. Once the font is uploaded, right-click on the font file, select Open with, and then choose Google Docs.
