hey im alice im a badge collector ive been collecting badges for probably seriously about five years now and it started with a bit of a black sabbath obsession with like their merchandise because the graphics are just really really cool and badges are sort of like a small like lovely tangible little object where you can you can pick them up fairly cheaply and that spiraled into all sorts of different directions of badges so focusing on music but then also counter culture advertising from the 80s activism and protest so its been um yeah an obsession starting from there um so the first sabbath badge i got was the cross which is like such an iconic symbol and its a little enamel pin with black sabbath written on it so i think i was attracted to the sort of 80s era of merchandise in general because the enamel badges they have this kind of like kitsch aspect to them as well some of the graphics are a bit um like badly drawn which makes them a bit endearing and also the culture of battl
