Title block: comprised of the information boxes found on the bottom right-hand corner of a drawing, the title block indicates drawing details such as the title, author name, scale, and date a drawing was created.
To place a Title Block on a Layout do the following: First, locate or download a Title Block template. Open up a blank drawing and click on the Layout tab or Right-click on the Layout 1 and select Page Setup Manager to enter your plot settings. Click Modify to open the dialog box.
To get started, its important to understand that most blueprints will include a basic cover page, a title block, keynotes, some general notes, a drawing scale, a legend, and a revision block.
A Diagram Legend is an element that you can add to your diagram to provide information about the colors and/or line thicknesses and styles that have been used in the current diagram, where those colors and other styles have some particular meaning.
The title block should show the name of the project and the drawing and sheet numbers as well as the drawing title (e.g., site plan). The drawing number is especially important, both for purposes of filing the blueprint and for locating the correct drawing when it is specified on another blueprint.
Beneath each drawing, you should include a title bar that contains the following information: title of the drawing. drawing number. scale of drawing. paper size. drawing sheet number of referenced drawing (where applicable, ie sections, elevations.)
The title block of a drawing, usually located on the bottom or lower right hand corner, contains all the information necessary to identify the drawing and to verify its validity. A title block is divided into several areas.
A symbol that contains information related to the design, such as the design name, the company, and the designer.
The title block is normally located in the lower right corner of the drawing sheet. Though the arrangement and size of the title block is optional, the following information is considered mandatory: Drawing number; Title or description of the drawing (part name);
A legend simply put is a chart with all of the symbols. used in an individual diagram. It could be an electrical, mechanical, PID, or another. type of diagram.
