hi in this new tutorial i will show you how to remove the black background from a plastic texture and turn it into a png file letamp;#39;s get start step number one open your image in photoshop and with the command or control button press the right mouse button on the layer copy the image with command or control plus c remember before doing step one you can edit your image and make it blacker the black part will be removed and it will become transparent in my case i preferred not to modify it because i want to have a more realistic texture step number two create a layer mask and with command or control plus alt click on the layer mask with the right mouse button now open the mask editor with command or control plus v paste the image and click on the image layer itamp;#39;s done you have your plastic with a transparent background you can modify your mask to blend it more with your image below in the description you can find my plastic texture pack downloadable on my gumroad page thank
