Open the zip file with winrar, double click an embedded text file, it should open in an external editor. Change and close the text file. Winrar then asks if it should updated the archive with the changed file. Use an editor that can look inside archives.
Search inside zip files Open WinRAR. Navigate to the folder with the zip files. (or navigate to a parent folder. Click FIND. Leave the * in the file names box. Type the string you want it to find. Select for Disks and Folders type ZIP in the Archive types box.
To unzip a single file or folder, open the zipped folder, then drag the file or folder from the zipped folder to a new location. To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
