for all of you out there that like the programming challenges i have a very simple one at least one that i hope is a very simple one i simply want to convert a string of hexadecimal characters a binary file now i know how to do this using uh user interface tools here this is just a text file open here in windows notepad and we see each of these sections iamp;#39;m wanting to turn into a binary file so i know how to do this by copying this character set and opening a hex editor like this one i just happen to be using hxd hex edit this version i think itamp;#39;s a great tool and then paste the text string of hexadecimal characters right here and there it is iamp;#39;ve just pasted that in and now i save this as binary block zero zero zero zero zero one dot b i n and i have a binary file and i can keep doing this over and over again manually copying and pasting and file save as binary two okay iamp;#39;m certain that someone probably already has a program to do this as a matter of fa

Students perform these same steps in reverse to convert the message back to text.
A code where each number represents a character can be used to convert text into binary. One code we can use for this is called ASCII. A 7-bit character set used for representing English keyboard characters.. The ASCII code takes each character on the keyboard and assigns it a binary number.
Here are the steps for converting decimal numbers into binary: Step 1: Divide the given decimal number by 2 and note down the remainder and quotient. Step 2: Now, divide the quotient obtained in step 1 by 2, and note down the remainder again. Step 3: Repeat the above steps until you get 0 as the quotient.
