Apply a custom number format Select the cell or range of cells that you want to format. On the Home tab, in the Number group, click More Number Formats at the bottom of the Number Format list . In the Format Cells dialog box, under Category, click Custom.
Cell Styles are found on the Home tab of the Excel ribbon, within the Styles command group. The Cell Styles command expands to reveal a gallery of Excel-defined cell styles. In some versions of Excel, you have to click the More dropdown button, which is an arrow with a small line at the top.
On the Home tab, select Format Format Cells, which will open the Format Cells dialog box. The first tab listed is the Number tab. The Category list in the Number tab allows you to select the format you want to use, such as Date, Time, Percentage, Currency, etc.
Format one or more cells Open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Tap a cell, then drag the blue markers across nearby cells you want to select. Tap Format . Go the Home menu in the ribbon. Look in Styles grouping of commands. Click on the Cell Styles command. Look in the Titles and Headings section and choose a heading style.
