hello and welcome to our lecture on setting up an apa template so iamp;#39;ve opened up my word processor here this is pages in mac and the first thing iamp;#39;m going to do is open up a blank document now this is actually fairly straightforward given that we are now using 7th edition apa so much easier than the 6th edition and it should make for a very quick setup first thing i want to do is make sure that i am in times new roman and that i have 12 point font and also that i have double spacing the next thing that i want to do is set up my pages now i know that iamp;#39;m going to need essentially four sections so my first section here is going to be the title page so iamp;#39;ve just hit enter a few times now iamp;#39;m going to hit insert page break and then iamp;#39;m going to hit enter a few more times insert page break a few more times insert page break and then just hit enter a few more times so i should have a four pages now the next thing that i want to do is head back

On iPad Pro, tap. to the left of the font size button, then tap a style.
In the Format sidebar, click the Style tab.
Select the words you want to format. In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top. If the text is in a text box, table, or shape, first click the Text tab at the top of the sidebar, then click the Style button. In the Font section, click the pop-up menu next to Character Styles, then choose a style.
Go to Design Page Borders. In the Borders and Shading box, design your border: Under Setting on the left, choose the border style you want. If you want to remove a border, select None.
You can assign a shortcut key (F1F8 on your keyboard) to a paragraph, character, or list style, then use the shortcut key to apply the style to selected text. Note: To use shortcut keys on a Mac, press Fn with the shortcut key.
In the Format sidebar on the right, click the Style button near the top. Click the Bullets Lists pop-up menu near the bottom of the sidebar, then choose an option. Continue typing your list, separating each item with a paragraph break. Each new line is preceded by a bullet or number in the format you selected.
In the Format sidebar, do one of the following: If theres an Update button: Click Update. If theres only an asterisk: Click the style name, then move the pointer over the style name in the Paragraph Styles pop-up menu. Click the arrow that appears, then choose Redefine from Selection.
In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top of the sidebar on the right. If the text is in a text box, table, or shape, first click the Text tab at the top of the sidebar, then click the Style button.
