Number Has Three Parts The nine-digit SSN is composed of three parts: The first set of three digits is called the Area Number. The second set of two digits is called the Group Number. The final set of four digits is the Serial Number.
XPS is a powerful quantitative technique for determining the electronic structure, elemental composition, and oxidation states of an element in a material.
There are millions of people who have SSNs, and some people think it is unique, but it is not, your number can match several people. Out of 119 people, there is a 50% chance that two of them will have the same last 4 digits in their SSN.
All social security numbers start with three digits, then two in the middle, and finish with four numbers. The first three numbers are called the area number. The area number shows the region or state where a person was born, and was first adopted in 1936.
As a result of the June 1936 decision, the current SSN is composed of three parts: The first three digits are the area number. The next two digits are the group number. The final four digits are the serial number.
The group number (G), or second set of digits, refers to the specific order in which SSNs are distributed within a geographical area from 01 to 99. First, odd numbers are assigned from 01 to 09 followed by even numbers from 10 to 98.
The group numbers are the two middle numbers of a social security number. These numbers do not represent the geographical region, but they do represent the order in which a number was issued for a particular region.
Structure. The Social Security number is a nine-digit number in the format AAA-GG-SSSS. The number has three parts: the first three digits, called the area number because they were formerly assigned by geographical region; the middle two digits, the group number; and the last four digits, the serial number.
