Once you have scanned in or converted your documents to PDF format and saved them on your system you can check the size of the document by hovering your mouse over the document, right clicking your mouse and choosing Properties from the drop-down menu. This section will show you the size of your PDF document.
- Open the PDF file in a PDF viewer (e.g., docHub Reader, Chrome, etc.). - Go to the File menu and select the Print option. - In the print settings dialog box, look for a print preview or page setup option. - The print preview will usually display a representation of the document, including its dimensions.
Once downloaded, simply open your pdf file in docHub Reader, and press Ctrl+D or File Properties (Document Properties). And voil! In the Advanced Information section, you will find Page size. Now, if you want to know your dimensions in units other than inches, simply convert it (1 inch - 2.54 cm).
How to measure a PDF online Go to Xodos online PDF Editor tool. Upload your PDF. In the drop-down menu on the toolbar, select Measure. Then use any of the measuring tools that appear on the toolbar: Distance, Arc Measurement, Perimeter, Area, Ellipse Area, Rectangular Area, and Count Measurement.
Just click on File, then Properties. Youll see lots of information about your document, including its size. Alternatively, you can navigate to the folder containing your document, right-click on it, and click Properties. Note: KB stands for kilobytes.
This measurement may not be accurate for margins setting. Open the PDF document using the docHub Reader software. Click the Tools tab on the toolbar and select Measure. In the secondary toolbar, click Measuring Tool. Use the Distance Tool to measure the margins of the page.
What s a good way to find out if the document is A4 or letter size ? ctrl + D will tell you the page formats in your local units so my A4 will show 21.0 x 29.7 cm for upright or 29.7 x 21.0 cm for seascape, its not exact but rounded for convenience.
