The defines a radio button. Radio buttons are normally presented in radio groups (a collection of radio buttons describing a set of related options). Only one radio button in a group can be selected at the same time.
As per my understanding you want to group the radio buttons such that one is selected at a time you can do it by adding name attribute in each radio button and give same name to all of them. So at time of submit you can get the value of selected variable in submit function call.
Only one radio button in a same named group of radio buttons is selectable at a time and only the one that is checked will be sent to the server on form submission. While you generally want a unique name for most form controls , you need to give all your radio buttons in a group the same name.
To make the radio button to select only one option at a time, observe carefully that the name attributes should be same for all the options provided as a part of question. So, the name attributes of both radio is name=question this makes us possible to select only one option at a time.
Use the querySelector() method to check whether a radio button is selected. Programmers can use JavaScripts querySelector() method to select any HTML element. Here, we have used the querySelector() method to select only the checked radio button. If no radio button is selected, it returns a null value.
The name attribute is the key to grouping radio buttons in HTML. When you assign the same name to multiple radio buttons, you are telling the browser that these buttons are part of the same group. As a result, the browser ensures that only one radio button within this group can be selected at any given time.
You can check a radio button by default by adding the checked HTML attribute to the element. You can disable a radio button by adding the disabled HTML attribute to both the and the .
