welcome back to the channel everybody im ham radio dude if its your first time here thanks for checking us out today i want to show you how i modified a couple of 3d printed designs to make a custom mount for a ram 1500 pickup truck so that the asus ftm 400 radio will fit nicely on the center console as youll see here now theres no extra drilling required into your vehicle or anything so it makes this project really nice and what youre going to see is youre going to see two hooks here below the ftm 400 or two pillars if you will theyre gray in color and those pillars are going to actually screw into existing holes for the ram 1500 dashboard but i want to go ahead and get started and explain why i had to do this and some of the problems i ran into and of course uh the thingyverse file will be posted below so if you want to check that out so download it print your own make some modifications let me know here we are and i wanted to show you what my original solution was for the ra
