hi my name is Bri Clark and Iamp;#39;m a software expert and today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to add area codes to phone numbers in Microsoft Excel in this spreadsheet I have a bunch of phone numbers that donamp;#39;t have an area code but these all actually need to be in the 212 area code so Iamp;#39;m going to start typing my formula here in the next column Iamp;#39;ll start with an equal sign and then I want to put the 212 area code in quotes and Iamp;#39;m going to put it in parentheses too so it looks nice when itamp;#39;s formatted so Iamp;#39;ll uh start the quotes open my parentheses for the area code Iamp;#39;ll type 212 and then Iamp;#39;ll type my closing part of the parenthesis and then I will type a space and close my quotation marks followed by an Amper sand and then the cell reference in this case D2 when I press enter I will see a nicely formatted phone number with an area code and now Iamp;#39;m just going to go ahead and click on that cell where the f
