What Periods Communicate in Text Messaging. In the context of texting, other linguistic researchers have suggested that the period reads as finalas shutting down a conversationand that it is more commonly used at the end of a sentence that is meant to convey unhappiness, anger, or frustration.
A period is the part of the menstrual cycle when women, girls and people who menstruate bleed from their vagina. For most people this happens every 28 days or so, but its common for periods to start sooner or later than this. It can range from day 24 to day 38 of your cycle. Periods last from around 4 to 8 days.
Menstrual blood which is partly blood and partly tissue from the inside of your uterus flows from your uterus through your cervix and out of your body through your vagina. Menstruation is driven by hormones. Hormones are chemical messengers in your body.
The blood you lose during your menstrual period is the shedding of the uterus lining. Its a mix of blood, fluids and mucus too, says Dr Asanga. The amount of actual blood in your period is around 36ml for every 100ml produced, but can be as low as 2ml per 100ml and as high as over 80ml per 100ml.
The eggs are extremely tiny and unable to be seen by the human eye.
Menstruation, or period, is normal vaginal bleeding that occurs as part of a womans monthly cycle. Every month, your body prepares for pregnancy. If no pregnancy occurs, the uterus, or womb, sheds its lining. The menstrual blood is partly blood and partly tissue from inside the uterus.
Texting Is Its Own Language So the recipient is forced to guess your tone based on cues and punctuation is one of the main ways they do that. A period or full stop is used to mark the end of an idea, so in texting a period can be like slamming a door in someones face it implies that the conversation is closed.
In text messages, you can express gratitude by saying thanks, with no period. But your meaning can be cloudier if you plop a period behind thanks. The former means all is OK. The latter could suggest the writer is miffed.
