lumps or clots of blood suggest that your bleeding is heavy because the natural menstrual blood is designed to come out without clotting because it is easy for a unclotted blood it is easy for the blood to come out that is when it is unclotted clots happen only when there is excessive blood and it is taking time for that blood to come out so when the blood comes out in the liquid form the uterus gets empty so this clots are formed when there is excessive blood such that the blood is taking longer time to come out of the uterus so it signifies that you have heavy menstrual bleeding so it is not normal coming back to the question you asked whether it is normal to have to pass clots during menstrual bin was that the question sujata so it is not normal if it is small clots like maybe a size of a pea or a ground nut it is fine but if it is more than that if it is of the size of a lemon or little more than that you should definitely consult a doctor get an ultrasound scanning done look into

You can also change the other spacing by using the \setstretch command, e.g. \setstretch{1.8}. To get single-spaced, one-and-half-spaced, and doublespaced effects, you can also use \setstretch{1}, \setstretch{1.5} and \setstretch{2} respectively.
LaTeX normally leaves a little extra space after punctuation, such as the period which ends a sentence. However, it uses a rather simple rule for determining whether a period ends a sentence: it assumes that periods end sentences unless they follow an upper case letter.
\@ declares the period that follows is to be a sentence-ending period. \[ same as \begin{displaymath} or $$. \\ terminates a line. \\* terminates a line, but disallows a pagebreak.
Does it work to simply change \vspace{-\baselineskip} to \vspace{-1.8\baselineskip} or some such? If not, try putting either \vspace{-1ex} or \vskip -1ex before the minipage in question. If those dont work, try putting \vbox{} in front of the vspace command.
Avoiding large space after full stop# But LaTeX will normally assume that a full stop ends a sentence and will therefore create a larger whitespace after e.g. or i.e. . To avoid this, we need to add a \ after the abbreviation, as in e.g.\ or i.e.\ . This also applies to any other abbreviation of course.
Using \begin{figure} \centering rather than \begin{figure} \begin{center} saves space. Sometimes excessive white space around a figure isnt LaTeXs fault.
