hello everyone in this video Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to unlock the protected worksheets are without using any of the paid software or macro code so this is a very simple trick and Iamp;#39;m going to show you with our two simple steps on but before that I finally request you to not misuse this trick to unlock up non copyrighted workbook or others workbook um so please use this if this workbook is owned by you and you unfortunately forget the password and donamp;#39;t use in others workbook so this is some of the sample data and what I am going to do is um I am going to lock it protect this sheets one with a password so I am going to protect sheet I am going to enter one of the complicated password and click on OK and itamp;#39;s asking again so Iamp;#39;m entering the password again and click on ok now this sheet one is completely protected so Iamp;#39;m just checking it now I am saving and closing this so this is the protected sheets I am just trying to alter some value

Require a password to open or modify a workbook Open the sheet or workbook that you want to protect. On the Review tab, click Protect Sheet or Protect Workbook. In the Password box, type a password, and in the Verify box, type the password again. Choose any other protection options you want and click OK. Click Save.
Open your Excel file and go to File Info Protect Workbook Encrypt with Password. 2. Enter the password and click OK to save. Make sure that you read Microsofts Caution message passwords.
On the Review tab, select Protect Sheet. In the Allow all users of this worksheet to list, select the elements you want people to be able to change. Move the pointer to cells for which the Locked box is checked on the Protection tab of the Format Cells dialog box. By default, users are allowed to select locked cells.
Follow these steps. Change the Extension Type to a Zip File. In File Explorer, edit the file name. Open the Zip File. Open the Protected Sheet in Notepad. Remove the Protection HTML Code. Add the Edited Sheet to the Zip File. Change the Extension Type to an Excel File. Verify the Sheet is Unlocked.
Protect an Excel file Select File Info. Select the Protect Workbook box and choose Encrypt with Password. Enter a password in the Password box, and then select OK. Confirm the password in the Reenter Password box, and then select OK.
Open the document, worksheet, or presentation. Go to File Info. Select Protect Workbook, point to Restrict Permission by People, and then select Manage Credentials.
Open the workbook that you want to change or remove the password for. On the Review tab, click Protect Sheet or Protect Workbook. Click Unprotect Sheet or Protect Workbook and enter the password. Clicking Unprotect Sheet automatically removes the password from the sheet.
How to unprotect Excel sheet with password Right-click the sheet tab, and select Unprotect Sheet from the context menu. On the Review tab, in the Changes group, click Unprotect Sheet. On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format, and select Unprotect Sheet from the drop-down menu.
