On the Review tab click on Restrict Editing. If the Restrict Editing option does not appear, you may have to enable the display of the Developer tab. Once you click on Restrict Editing, the Restrict Editing pane will appear.
If you wanna get the value as an int for your label text, you just need to parse it if it is a valid number. For example; int yourInt = int. Parse(yourLabel.
Use the ReadOnly property to specify whether the contents of the TextBox control can be changed. Setting this property to true will prevent users from entering a value or changing the existing value. Note that the user of the TextBox control cannot change this property; only the developer can.
HTML readonly Attribute prevents user input, making the textarea content read-only, allowing only the display of text without editing capability.
You can specify the maximum number of characters that can be entered into the TextBoxExt control by using MaxLength property. The default value is 32767 .
The getValue() function retrieves the input element using getElementById() , accesses its value property to get the text entered by the user, and displays it in an alert.
Set the TextBox controls ReadOnly property to true . With the property set to true , users can still scroll and highlight text in a text box without allowing changes. A Copy command is functional in a text box, but Cut and Paste commands are not.
The readonly attribute makes a form control non-editable (or read only). A read-only field cant be modified, but, unlike disabled , you can tab into it, highlight it, and copy its contents.
